The stylish Blue Crush actress, Kate Bosworth, is dipping into the world of technology. She, along with LA entrepreneur, Samantha Russ, have created an app for your phone called Style Thief. This app allows you to take a picture of someone’s outfit, and it will use photo recognition to find similar style clothes to buy online. Pretty handy actually.
This isn’t Bosworth’s first foray into the fashion business, as she helped launch JewelMint (a membership jewelry site) in 2010, and has designed two capsule collections for Topshop, and further hinted that she may actually do her own line.
All that aside- Bosworth admits to not always being so fashion savvy:
“I look back on when I was just starting out with everything, and I think late teens, early 20s, it’s when you should experiment and figure out when you feel good,” she says. “The only time I felt regretful was when I felt imbalanced, like there’s too much hair, there’s too much makeup, there’s too big a print, and I just felt overwhelmed.”
With all her style hobbies- Bosworth has still managed to maintain her active film career. She will be seen in Still Alice in September, along with Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore. She is also one year into her marriage to director, Michael Polish, and in the latest InStyle magazine, alludes to the prospect of baby making, saying:
“I know that it’s going to be tough, but Michael and I will find humor in it,” the cover girl said of motherhood. “We’re already convinced that our kids will do things that are hilarious.”
She sort of looks like Jaime King in these pictures, no?
